DEEP FRIED OREOS

Dip 6 x oreos in batter, then drop in the fryer at 180 degrees.

Flip the oreos after around 2 minutes when the batter is golden, crispy and puffed up - make sure the oreos look the same on both sides.

Dust with icing sugar and serve as pictured.

If requested, serve the ice cream in the middle of the oreos and the chocolate sauce (in a ramekin) on the side.

Batter

Use a chip cup.

1 cup flour

1 cup milk

1 egg

1g dry yeast

Whisk until well combined. It is vital that you make this batter fresh everyday!

Chocolate Sauce

1l cream

1kg dark chocolate callets

2 cups water

1 cup icing sugar

125 butter

Add cream and water and bring to heat, add butter and as the butter melts, add the chocolate.

Take off the heat and continue whisking until the chocolate is melted.
